Fall 2010 Team Distribution will be held as follows at the Ontario Soccer Park at the benches near the snack bar.
Friday August 6, 2010 Coaches for U14, U16 and U19 Teams meet at 7:00 PM.
Monday August 9, 2010 Coaches for U10 Teams meet at 6:30 PM; U12 meet at 7:45 PM.
Tuesday August 10, 2010 Coaches for U05 and U06 Teams meet at 6:30 PM; U08 meet at 7:45 PM.
Only coaches/assistant coaches should attend. Coaches will contact their players within a few days to set up meeting/practice times/days.
Parents and players SHOULD NOT attend this meeting.
Registration for the Fall 2010 season is still open but you MUST register now!

The Region held a last late walk-up registration on Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ontario Soccer Park.
If you registered on line at eAYSO, please print and sign two copies of your child's registration form, or your volunteer form (no fee for volunteers) along with your check made out to South Ontario Region 583 in the amount of $95.00 for each player. If your child or children are new to Region 583, please bring a photo copy of their birth certificate for verification of their birth date.
IF YOU HAVE NOT YET REGISTERED, YOU CAN REGISTER AT THIS TIME, BUT HURRY, TEAMS WILL BE FORMED IN THE NEXT WEEK!!

If you have not yet registered with the region, the fastest way to register your children or yourself as a coach, referee or other volunteer is to go to eAYSO at this link: www.eayso.org and follow the instructions to complete the electronic registration process.
Once you have registered using eAYSO please print and sign two copies of your child's registration form, or your volunteer form (no fee for volunteers) along with your check made out to South Ontario Region 583 in the amount of $95.00 for each player. If your child or children are new to Region 583, please include a photo copy of their birth certificate. Then mail the entire package to the address this address:

COACHING CLASSES NOW SCHEDULED FOR FALL 2010 SEASON
Anyone wishing to receive training and certification as a U10 Coach or U12 Coach must atted one of the classes listed below. T attend yo must be a fall 2010 registered AYSO volunteer and you need to register for the course at
www.eAYSO.org, AYSO will be recommending that EVERY coach should be trained and certified at the level they will be coaching.
U-10 Coach Class 9 am to 12 pm Course # 201003812
U-12 Coach Class 1 pm to 6 pm Course # 201003813
Both courses will be held at the Ontario Soccer Park. Attendees should bring a ball, notebook/paper and pen, tennis shoes or soccer cleats, a hat, sunscreen, and be ready to work. Region will provide all training materials and water.

GOALKEEPER AND FIELD PLAYER TRAINING NOW OFFERED
The Region is now offering, in cooperation with Roy Opondo, an international professional goalkeeper, training sessions for anyone interested in becoming a goalkeeper or improving their goalkeeping skills. Each of these sessions will be held at the Ontario Soccer Park on Fridays from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Field player training will be held from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Fridays.
